Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae Singers. Shottas was a classic movie where he was in the film alongside another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, including Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as Who The Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. Each of these songs contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the younger generation of reggae musicians. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue an acclaimed cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley is the very first artist to perform in Midem in Miami which was an international festival of music. Marley performed in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live throughout 36 nations.
